Good to know:

Some products do not tolerate freezing well. The more water-rich a food is, the less it can be stored for a long time. Indeed, during solidification, the water contained in the foodstuff turns into crystals which pierce the membranes of it. Its flavors will then escape and its appearance may deteriorate.

Freezing not recommended for dairy products, eggs, salad, pasta, potatoes.

Warning:

Some foods should not be frozen due to the risk of salmonella. These are mayonnaise, cakes with egg white icing, pastry cream and cakes that contain it, sour cream, baked egg whites.
